Episodes 16
Tianbao decided to kill Zhang Lang to take revenge for Zhiling. Zhiyuan tried to stop him and end up shooting him! Junjie finds out he is being played out by Zhi Shan after their one night stand. He realises he has lost everything. Returning to the wishing well, he prayed to be given another chance, not realising that his prayers are answered!
Episodes 17
Junjie goes back in time to 2 years ago, before the tragedy happens. This time round, he is able to save Zhiling from her death. Losing her once before, Junjie vows to treasure her. Xiao Rou doesn’t understand the sudden change in his attitude. Junjie tells Xiao Rou there is no happy ending for them in this relationship as she is still not able to forget Ming Wen. Zhiling happily accepts Junjie’s proposal.
Episodes 18
Zhiyuan comes across Xiao Rou’s message to Junjie in the book “Taj Mahal”and is hurt when he realised that the person Xiao Rou really likes is Junjie. Xiao Rou tells him their relationship is over and wanted to throw away the book. Zhiyuan sees through this pretence and is aware that she will not give up her feelings for him so easily.
Episodes 19
Zhiliang decides to cancel the wedding as she is aware Junjie still likes Xiao Rou. She urges Junjie to go after Xiao Rou. Junjie chases after Xiao Rou but still end up losing her as he fails to catch up with her. Half a year later after her departure, Tianbao and Zhiling are married and Zhiling is pregnant. However, Tianbao knows that Zhiling still has feelings for Junjie and constantly loses his temper with her.
Episodes 20
Zhiyuan goes to India to look for Xiao Rou but ends up dying. Xiao Rou brings his ashes back. Zhi Shan wants to get back at Junjie after he exposes her scheming ways but she ends up killing Xiao Rou when she knocks her down. Fei Fei confronts Zhiling over Tianbao. Zhiling suffers a miscarriage when Fei Fei pushes her down a flight of stairs. Junjie berates himself for this chain of tragic misfortunes and returns to the wishing well to pray for another chance to make amends. Will his wish come true again?
